Rockin 911 Tactical Horsemanship provides professional mounted law enforcement training and consulting grounded in real-world experience, proven law enforcement practices, and sound horsemanship.
We work with agencies to develop confident mounted officers, capable instructors, and safe, professional mounted units. Our training goes beyond basic riding skills by preparing officers and their equine partners for the realities of mounted law enforcement, including crowd management, patrol operations, public events, parades, demonstrations, search operations, and other large-scale public safety deployments.

Meet the Founder
Lieutenant Christopher P. Adolph is the founder and lead instructor of Rockin 911 Tactical Horsemanship. He brings more than 35 years of law enforcement experience, along with decades of leadership and operational experience in mounted patrol.
Christopher is a Master Peace Officer, TCOLE Certified Instructor, and Certified Mounted Patrol Instructor. Throughout his career, he has supervised specialized law enforcement operations, developed mounted training programs, trained officers, and led mounted deployments for crowd management, major sporting events, rodeos, parades, public demonstrations, search operations, and large-scale public safety events.
As the active leader of a full-time law enforcement mounted unit, Christopher brings current operational knowledge to every course. His experience includes personnel supervision, policy development, equine management, horse and rider evaluation, risk management, and mounted unit deployment.
Christopher also serves as the Region 4 Director for the North American Mounted Unit Commanders Association, where he works with mounted law enforcement professionals to advance training, leadership, and professional standards throughout the mounted policing community.

A Historic Win for Texas
In 2025, Lieutenant Christopher Adolph and his equine partner, Boons Blue Line, earned the prestigious William D. McCarthy Memorial Trophy at the North American Police Equestrian Competition. Awarded to the law-enforcement officer and horse with the best performance in the obstacle course, the trophy honors Philadelphia Police Officer William D. McCarthy and his mounted partner, Skipper, who were killed together in the line of duty in 1987. Their victory is believed to mark the first time this respected traveling trophy has been brought home to Texas, a proud achievement reflecting the trust, preparation, and partnership between Lieutenant Adolph and Rio. |
